No. It writes compressed copies to your chosen destination and leaves the source files untouched.
Which image formats can I use?+
You can add JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, GIF, and HEIC/HEIF images. Choose JPEG, WebP, or AVIF for your compressed output.
Does ShrinkDrop compress video?+
Not yet. The first version focuses on image batches; video compression is not included.
Do my images get uploaded?+
No. Image processing happens locally on your Mac. ShrinkDrop does not need to upload your files to a server.
Is ShrinkDrop a subscription?+
No. ShrinkDrop is a one-time payment: CA$5 or US$5 based on the checkout currency. Dodo emails an activation key after purchase; enter it in the app to unlock compression.
